Jamie is the President, founder and co-owner of the Premier Companies, LLC, a Real Estate Brokerage, Property Management, Consulting, Development and Commercial Construction Group. Premier Companies have been retained by partnerships, companies and banks to provide counsel in Real Estate Asset Management, Development, Construction and Disposition. The Premier Companies are actively involved in the Entitlement and Construction of Shopping Centers, Office Buildings, Medical Clinics, Warehouses, Light Industrial Buildings and Apartment Communities. Premier Real Estate Services is also known for its expertise in managing properties and in achieving higher NOI than many of their competitors. Premier has grown its management portfolio of multifamily properties to over 1,000 units and of approximately 1,000,000 square feet of commercial property.
Jamie is also President and founder of Paramount Land Company, a central Iowa land development firm that develops mixed use developments with a wide array of zoning classes. He is also the President of Paramount and Destination Homes. These home building companies build semi-custom and custom homes ranging from $250,000-$2,000,000.
Prior to forming The Premier Companies, Jamie served as President and CEO of the Regency Companies LC, Regency Commercial Services, LLC and Vice President of Regency Homes, LC. Being raised in the family business, he was given a great deal of exposure and hands-on training in every aspect of the family’s multi-faceted construction business. This vast experience has offered Jamie a unique insight and valuable perspective, allowing him to grow tremendously as a business professional. Regency and its partner companies exceeded $750,000,000 in volume annually and constructed over 10,000 homes and more than 3,000,000 square feet of Commercial Buildings including six UnityPoint Health Medical clinics, Regional and Local Retail Shopping Centers, Office Buildings Warehouse Facilities, Hotels and two of the Wild Rose Hotel & Casinos over the lifespan of the Companies.
Jamie understands the importance of building strong communities. For that reason, he is actively involved in local, community-based organizations. Jamie has served on the board of directors for: The Greater Des Moines Partnership, Choose Des Moines Communities, The Iowa Sports Foundation (the Iowa Games), The Institute for Character Development and the Unity Point Health System‘s Cabinet for the Construction of the new West Des Moines Hospital. Jamie has served on the Board for The Home Builders Association of Greater Des Moines, has chaired Des Moines’ Developer’s Council and holds a Master Builder designation. Jamie is also a Member of The International Council of Shopping Centers. Current board appointments include The Des Moines Developer’s Council, The Unity Point Health Foundation Board of Directors, Chairman of the Unity Point Resource and Development Committee and the Light the Night Executive Board for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
An organization especially close to his heart is the ALS Association. He currently serves as a board member on the Central Iowa ALS Association to help raise awareness and funding to hopefully find a cure in the years to come. He also has served as a Board member in Central Iowa as well as acted as the National Vice President of the MDA (Muscular Dystrophy Association). In the past, Jamie, his family, and the Regency Companies have worked diligently to create and organize company events and fundraisers to raise awareness in the community for these organizations while raising millions of dollars for research and helping local families.
Married to wife Robin of over 25 years, with two children; AJ and Abbey.
